Reflections

I thought I knew a lot about technology before coming to IU but when I got here I had no idea how much stuff there was. I think that my high school was not that technologically advanced, because I had never even done a power point presentation until my Sophomore year of college. I am so excited to take this course and learn more about technology in general. It was really interesting already learning about all of the cool technology teachers can use in there classrooms. The interactive white board I think is amazing, and also the video conferencing. When the video conferencing was first brought up, I thought I would not like it at all. I felt like it took away from field trips and actually getting out of the classroom. Now though i realize that there are so many amazing things that can be done with it, and they can show students things they would have never been able to see otherwise. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the semester!
