My experience with technology revolves mostly around the internet, cell phones, ipods, digital cameras, powerpoint, microsoft word and email. I have taken a technology class W201 which has helped me learn about different technology such as creating powerpoints and building a website. I also had the opportunity to use clickers in my geography class to answer questions on quizzes, this approach seemed to work well for the class. I'm hoping that during this class I will be able to learn about different technology that can help me out in the classroom. I find it interesting to know that there is technology that allows teachers to see every one of his/her students computers as well as being able to wach live surgery without ever leaving the classroom! I am also interesting in learning more about manipulatives and blogging in the classroom.
